JLR SDD V167 Offline

Introduction

JLR SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnostics) is the original OEM diagnostic platform developed for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. Used by official dealerships and certified technicians until 2017, this software allows comprehensive access to all vehicle systems for fault diagnosis, control unit programming, coding, service resets, and configuration tasks.

The V167 Offline edition is the final and most stable release of SDD, offering workshops the flexibility to work without needing internet-based authorization or cloud access.

6.2. JLR VCI DOIP: The JLR DoIP VCI is the newest interface for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. It is the only unit that will be compatible with the Pathfinder and all JLR vehicles with the new vehicle architectures found in 2017 and newer vehicles (from the Range Rover/Range Rover Sport L405/L494).

In addition to the 2017 and newer vehicles, the DoIP VCI will also be capable of interfacing with 2014 through 2016 Multi-CAN architecture vehicles (see application list below). Vehicles 2014 and older vehicles not detailed here will continue to use the current diagnostic system and VCIs.
